Perhaps the most well-known glass-ceramic surfaces are electric or induction hobs. However, not only these items are facing very high temperatures and they are quickly subject to devastation by dirt, grease and chemicals, which adhere to these surfaces very easily. In most cases, cleaning of the affected areas is only possible mechanically using abrasive tools and chemical preparations containing sands. The removal of burns and stains in this way though means an even greater disruption of the glass structure and a deepening of its unevenness. Grease, dirt and other substances adhere to the surface even easier and their cleaning is almost impossible over the time. On the glass-ceramic surfaces then the irremovable stains and small scratches are remaining.
The Nano Protect Glass-Ceramic closes the glass surface, reduces the sticking and burning of grease, soot and dirt on the glass and withstands extreme temperatures of up to 800 ° C. It provides protection against chemicals as well as against scratches from small dirt and dust, and because the dirt does not stick to the surfaces, the treated surfaces are very easy to maintain. Protection consisting of nanoparticles of silicon oxides and zirconium lasts 6-12 months depending on the frequency of use of cooking equipment. The protective layer repels water, grease and prevents the growth of bacteria, therefore the surface becomes naturally antibacterial. Thanks to the hardness and added UV filters, the treated surfaces are many times more resistant to damage. Do you want to know more about the technology?
ATTENTION: The product can only be polished in final with the help of the product Nano Degreaser & Polisher. Always apply to surfaces free of all impurities.
Package content and consumption
The package contains 30 ml of Nano Protect Glass-Ceramic. This is sufficient amount for up to 8m2. For final polishing it is necessary to use it together with product Nano Degreaser & Polisher.
Nanocosmetics Application
Applying the products is not complicated at all. You only need to follow four steps. First, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Then apply a protective polish and leave on for 5 minutes to work and polish with a soft cloth. Always read carefully the attached instructions.
Surface maintenance after application
Surfaces treated with Pikatec nanocosmetics are smoother, much more resistant to damage and for their maintenance just a dry or moistened microfiber cloth is sufficient. With just that you will be able to wipe off all dirt easily, the treated surfaces will always look like new and you will not need any other harmful chemicals to clean them. How to clean properly?
Instructions for use
Surface preparation: Before application, it is necessary to remove all impurities and grease from the treated surface otherwise it could cause a limited function and shorten the durability of the protection polish. Check if there are no traces of water drops or other stains on the glass-ceramic item. These need to be removed before application, otherwise you would "conserve" them in the protective layer and it would be very difficult to get rid of them afterwards. Always perform the final cleaning / degreasing of the glass-ceramic item with help of the Nano Degrease & Polisher (formerly Nano Clear Glass) sprayed lightly, preferably on microfibre cloth at best, which you gently rub the surface with.
Application: Shake the product well before use and also frequently during application. Using a pump, spray only one dose of protective polish on the application cloth or, for larger areas, on the application pad. Using circular movements then apply a continuous and very thin film of the product to the surface. When working, try not to apply the product over the already covered area, as this would increase the laboriousness and difficulty of both application and subsequent polishing. You don't have to worry - we're in a nano environment and one layer (one swipe on the surface with an application cloth) is perfectly sufficient for surface treatment. After covering the whole area, let the polish harden for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, start polishing the surface with a microfibre cloth, lightly sprayed with the Nano Degreaser & Polisher. Do not press too hard on the cloth - if you start to feel the more effort is needed than before, add little amount of the Degreaser & Polisher on the cloth and continue working. As the cloth absorbs excess polish, it is advisable to keep folding it and turning it at the time it starts to leave smudges on the polished surface.
The protective polish additionally excludes residual greases (so-called emulsifiers) from the glass-ceramics, which could not be completely removed during the first cleaning, and which can limit the water-repellent effect of the nanolayer. These must be removed from the surface by washing the glass-ceramic by hand with warm water with detergent without additives, such as a universal cleaner, and after drying it cleaneded with a cloth, lightly sprayed with Nano Degreaser & Polisher. If we do not use the treated area immediatelly after the application, it is sufficient to remove the emulsifiers just once, a week to 14 days after it. However, if we treat surfaces that will be in use immediately after the polish has hardened, we recommend that you always carry out this washing process just before use and repeat it after the glass has cooled down for a period of approx. 7 days. If this wasn't done, the residual grease could stick and burn onto the protective layer and it would be much more difficult to get rid of it then.

Types of hazards: Flammable liquids with possible eye damage, skin irritation, respiration hazard and specific target body organs toxicity.
